The lead projects will be undertaken shortly in Latvia where there is the potential for some 70MWe plus of capacity based on the concept of locating small, discrete plants adjacent to heat users and supplying power to the grid, so ensuring high overall energy recovery and avoiding wastes to landfill. Each plant will bear a close similarity to other units but will be scaled to match the adjacent heat demand.

The concepts used in Latvia will be used internationally to promote green energy production (power, heat/refrigeration) and the responsible, environmentally friendly disposal of solid wastes.
